1. PICK A BRICK STANDARD ORDERS PAUSE NOV. 2
North American Castle builders have a new Pick a Brick deadline.
LEGO's Pick a Brick team says Standard ordering will temporarily pause in the U.S. and Canada beginning Monday, Nov. 2. That makes Sunday, Nov. 1 the final day to order Standard parts before the transition.
LEGO expects remaining eligible Standard elements to return as Bestseller parts during Q1 2027, although DUPLO elements may take longer.
WHY IT MATTERS
If you have Castle parts sitting on your Standard wish list, don't assume they'll remain orderable through the end of the year.
This is separate from normal Pick a Brick retirement. A part becoming unavailable Nov. 2 does not necessarily mean LEGO has retired it — it may simply be caught in the North American Standard-to-Bestseller transition.
One unanswered question is what happens to upcoming November and December additions during the pause. That includes anticipated Castle elements such as the Black Knights shield. LEGO has not clarified whether those parts will be orderable in North America during the transition.
ACTION: Review your Standard PAB list and identify anything you don't want to risk being temporarily unavailable after Nov. 1.

2. FREE GEOFFREY LEGO BUILD COMING TO SELECT MACY'S
Another free LEGO build is headed to U.S. stores later this month.
On Saturday, Oct. 17 from 12–2 p.m., participating Toys“R”Us shops inside select Macy's stores will offer a free LEGO build-and-take featuring Geoffrey the Giraffe, while supplies last.
Participation is location-specific, so don't assume your nearest Macy's is hosting it.
ACTION: Check your local Macy's store page before making the trip.

3. BARNES & NOBLE HALLOWEEN LEGO BUILDS
Barnes & Noble locations around the country are hosting free LEGO Halloween mini-build events next weekend.
Most are appearing around Oct. 9–11, but this is not one standardized national event. Dates, times, age requirements, registration procedures and availability vary by store — and some locations are already full.
That makes this one worth checking before next weekend rather than waiting until the day of the event.
ACTION: Search your local Barnes & Noble events page now to see whether your store is participating and whether registration is required.
