1. Brickworld Fort Wayne is open this weekend

LEGO fans in the Midwest have a convention to explore this weekend, October 10–11, at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Brickworld features original fan-built creations, LEGO vendors, and hands-on building activities. And there's a Castle connection: a builder in r/legocastles has posted about bringing their medieval display to the event.

Here's what visitors need to know:

  • Saturday, October 10: 10 AM–5 PM

  • Sunday, October 11: 10 AM–4 PM

  • Location: Hall III, 4000 Parnell Avenue, Fort Wayne

  • Admission: $18 at the door; $13 for military and first responders with ID; children 3 and under free

Tickets are valid for one day, and parking costs extra.

Brickworld is an independently organized LEGO fan event, not an official LEGO Group event.

A colorful Castle inspired by LEGO's earliest kingdoms

Designer Eric Nowicki's Queen's Castle takes a different approach to the BrickLink Designer Program: 1,901 pieces, seven minifigures, and bright primary colors inspired by the classic 375 Castle and vintage LEGO designs.

It's currently a 2028 Wave 1 submission—not a confirmed future set. Collectors can explore the design and support the project through BrickLink.
