1. The $100 Haunted Tree deal is official
LEGO has now confirmed the details for 40900 Scary Haunted Tree. The gift-with-purchase runs September 21–30 in the U.S., while supplies last, with a $100 qualifying purchase.
That $100 threshold had previously only been reported, so this is the important update: it’s now official. The set has a stated retail value of $19.99 and is limited to one per household.
The offer is available online, in LEGO Stores and by phone. For Castle builders, the twisted tree, dark colors and spooky landscaping offer plenty of potential beyond Halloween.
2. Sleepy Dragon Inn is a Castle faction sampler
The finalized 910070 Sleepy Dragon Inn contains 3,121 pieces and nine minifigures, bringing several Castle identities together in one medieval setting.
The lineup includes Griffin and Horse knights along with a Kraken Warriors figure, giving Castle collectors another reason to look closely at the Inn beyond the build itself.
Crowdfunding begins October 6 at 8:00 a.m. Pacific. The U.S. price is $269.99, and purchases are limited to two per household.
3. Unicorn Castle gets a 20% bundle discount
31175 Unicorn Castle is scheduled to retire in December 2026 according to retirement trackers, and LEGO has added a small discount opportunity.
From September 21 through 30, buying 42684 Unicorn Dream Café for $39.99 earns 20% off the $44.99 Unicorn Castle — about $9 off.
The bundle is sold as a single unit, can't be returned in parts, and is available for online and phone orders only, not LEGO Stores.
It’s not traditional LEGO Castle, but anyone already watching the set before retirement now has a chance to get it below full price.
