2 Things Castle Collectors Should Know Today
Verified LEGO Castle news, deals, parts, and collector intelligence — in 2–3 minutes.
1. A new desk reference for the parts that build your castle
Tom Alphin’s The LEGO Parts Guide launches today, with a listed U.S. price of $24.99. The 134-page book organizes roughly 2,000 common parts into 12 categories based on how builders use them.
Technical diagrams explain sideways building and hinge geometry—useful knowledge for designing angled walls, towers and other Castle details. Brickset’s review and interview also highlight its value for organizing a collection and discovering unfamiliar elements.
One caveat for vintage collectors: it focuses on current parts, drawing primarily from 2021–2025 sets with additions from 2026. Many retired classic Castle elements fall outside that scope. Find details and regional ordering links on the author’s book page.
2. A retiring Disney princess castle is 40% off at Kohl’s
Kohl’s lists Mini Belle & Tiana with Castle (43291) for $23.99 online, down from $39.99. LEGO’s U.S. product page lists it at $39.99 and marks it Retiring soon.
The 358-piece set includes a three-level castle, a spinning turntable and two small brick-built princess characters. Its Disney styling makes it a crossover option for collectors who enjoy smaller fantasy displays.
Coupons do not apply, though Kohl’s says you can earn and redeem Kohl’s Cash and Rewards. Online prices and availability can change.
