1. Dustmark Keep is reaching backers
The wait is ending for some Castle builders. Brick Fanatics reports that BrickLink Designer Program Series 8 sets, including Dustmark Keep, are arriving with backers.
Earlier this month, sets were preparing to ship. Now customers are reporting deliveries of the fan-designed fortress.
If you preordered Dustmark Keep or another Series 8 set, check your order tracking and delivery notifications. Reported arrivals do not mean every order has shipped, and timing will vary by destination.
2. Build, Paint and Play revealed as next week’s gift with purchase
LEGO Ideas 40889 Build, Paint and Play! has been revealed. According to Brickset’s announcement, the 158-piece set will be available with qualifying LEGO.com purchases of $130 or more starting October 28, while supplies last.
Based on the winning Build Your Hobby challenge entry, this adult display model recreates a miniature-painting setup. Its tools, paint and glue are represented by LEGO pieces.
For minifigure collectors, the standout detail is the light bluish gray Classic Space helmet and air tanks. Brickset notes they complete the gray astronaut that Series 17’s Rocket Boy started back in 2017.
LEGO hasn’t posted a U.S. end date or full terms yet.

Follow the instructions in Brickset’s offer article, including its shopping link. Check code availability after signing in and confirm the gift appears in your basket.
The Parade Car code window ends October 27; Build, Paint and Play is reported to begin October 28. The advertised windows do not overlap, so do not plan on receiving both with the same order.
