1. BrickFair Oaks is getting a $22 Mini Castle
Castle collectors heading to BrickFair Oaks this November have something extra to look for.
BrickFair says its charity Mini Castle set will be available at the Oaks, Pennsylvania show for $22. The model was designed by Ben Spector, and proceeds from sales help support underprivileged children.
There’s also a useful deadline: use promo code MINICASTLE when purchasing BrickFair Oaks tickets and the current offer takes 50% off admission.
The code expires September 30.
For Mid-Atlantic Castle fans, this gives BrickFair Oaks another Castle-specific reason to have the show on the calendar.

2. A free LEGO Witch build is coming to Barnes & Noble
Here’s one for the fantasy side of your Castle collection.
Participating Barnes & Noble stores are expected to host a free LEGO Witch & Broom build event on October 9 or October 10, depending on the location.
The small witch-on-a-broom model isn’t technically LEGO Castle, but it could fit nicely into a medieval-fantasy display—and it’s another useful free-build opportunity for Castle parts collectors.
Participation, dates and times can vary by store, and quantities are limited. Check your local Barnes & Noble event calendar before making the trip.

There’s a trick for finding Pick a Brick parts on the way out.
LEGO has historically used searchable internal tags that can surface groups of Pick a Brick elements headed for removal.
For the current late-2026 retirement wave, the search code is 2026Exit. Searching that term on Pick a Brick should surface the elements included in this removal group.
Previous waves have used similar tags, including exit2025 and midexit2026.
One important caveat: LEGO does not publicly document these search codes as an official consumer feature, and the list can change. If an element is extended or retained, it may disappear from the 2026Exit search results even though it appeared on the original retirement list.
