1. A new take on Howl’s Moving Castle reaches LEGO Ideas review

A walking fortress is back in front of LEGO. Butterbarr’s Howl’s Moving Castle reached 10,000 supporters on October 24, Brick Fanatics reports, putting it in the third 2026 LEGO Ideas review.

Inspired by the Studio Ghibli film, this design focuses on recreating the castle’s intricate exterior. It isn’t the first attempt: a motorized version by ericlego321 reached review in 2023 and wasn’t approved. Another qualifying design demonstrates continued fan interest, but it doesn’t indicate LEGO’s decision. This is a fan project under consideration, with no confirmed retail release.

Two Halloween favorites joined the same review round on October 25: a Beetlejuice house by BrickStability and The Addams Family mansion by Dreamnbricks with BRICKUP and iTavix, according to Brick Fanatics. Earlier designs based on both properties have also reached review. These latest submissions are fan projects, not announced products.
