1. The Joust just gained the Black Knights
A first look at the final version of The Joust (Medieval Tournament), shared by Stud City and reported by Brick Fanatics, shows a significant Castle change: the Black Knights have been added to the tournament. The revised model includes a Black Knight minifigure, a Black Knights tent, and additional Horse Knight banners around the arena. The Black Knights were not part of the originally submitted version.
That gives the revived faction another modern appearance following the 40912 Sea Serpent gift-with-purchase and a Black Knights shield used on a training dummy in the upcoming Sleepy Dragon Inn. The Joust was listed at 3,099 pieces as originally submitted, with BrickLink Series 10 crowdfunding scheduled for February 2027.

BrickLink is still in the Refining Finalist Designs phase, which runs into January 2027, and final production details have not yet been published. Crowdfunding is scheduled for February 2027; sets that receive more than 3,000 pre-orders are slated for a one-time production run.
